These pancakes are SO good!!  They rival Ihop’s!  They are fluffy, sweet and delicious!  You’ll be tossing out your Bisquick as soon as you take one bite!  My son had the first bite in his mouth and he exclaimed, “Mom!!  What did you put in these!?!  LOVE!?!”  🙂  Yep.  <3

Ingredients:
2 1/2 plus 3 tablespoons Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Baking Soda
pinch of salt
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups buttermilk (or milk and vinegar – see below)
4 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 cup sugar

Recipe:
Mix 2 1/2 cups milk with 2 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar and let sit for about 5 minutes.  This will turn it into buttermilk.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add the buttermilk and eggs to the flour mixture and combine thoroughly.
Stir in the sugar and melted butter.
Cook on an ungreased non-stick griddle or on a greased pan.

Serves 6-8.

We have had pancakes for dinner 4 times in a week and a half now because we just can’t get enough!!!
Enjoy!

(I have never used buttermilk because I have always made my own as shown.)
